Navigating your deal admin dashboard
For a video tour of the deal admin dashboard, please scroll to the bottom of this page.
If this is your first deal on Odin, take a moment to get familiar with the deal admin page. This is where you’ll spend the bulk of your time when administering a deal. Your deal admin page can be accessed by clicking on the relevant deal from the ‘Deals’ tab of the left sidebar.
The top left of the page will show the deal name and the logo of the investee company. Below this, you’ll see a link to ‘view as investor’ which will show you the deal page as your investors see it.
Across the top line of the page, you’ll see the following fields from left to right:
- Total committed - The sum of all your investors’ stated commitments, whether we’ve received money from them or not.
- Total received - The sum of all funds received for this deal by Odin, including any additional fees you are charging on top.
- Syndicate lead fee - Your fees for this deal (aka your management fee).
- Gross available - The total received, minus Syndicate Lead fee, but before the deduction of Odin’s platform fees.
As Odin’s platform fee is not applied to these figures, the information note below provides this calculator for you to understand exactly how much you need to raise to hit your target net final investment amount - the amount you’ll be sending to the Investee Company after the Odin platform fee deduction. The calculator includes additional fees for things like notaries and US investors, which need to be taken into consideration.
Below these fields, you will see three buttons to the right of the page:
- Close deal - When you’ve received all funds (and only then), click this button to notify Odin’s Deal Operations team to begin the closing process.
- Email investors - If you’d like to send a bulk email to a cohort of your investors (e.g. sending a reminder to those who have committed but not yet wired funds) you can do so by clicking this button, typing your message, and clicking send.
- Invite - The link creation and sharing mechanism to add investors to the deal.
To the left of the aforementioned buttons are three tabs marked Investors, Terms and Memo:
-
Investors
- This tab shows a complete list of the investors who have been invited to the deal, invested in it or passed on the deal. You can filter down to a specific subset of investors using the dropdown selector to the ‘close deal’ button.
- Please note that under each investor’s name, there is a status indicator, which you can use to understand how far along they are in the investment journey. You can filter by this status as mentioned above.
- Each row of this view provides a granular breakdown of each investor’s commitment, the amount we’ve received from them, your syndicate lead fee (if applicable) and the carried interest (if applicable) for that specific investor.
- The kebab menu (three vertical dots) at the right-hand side gives you the option to email a specific investor, which is ideal for chasing payments or enquiring as to why KYC or AML details have yet to be submitted. In new platform releases, we will add additional features available via this menu.
- Your own name appears at the top of the investor list, where you can click ‘complete your investment’ to go through the investment flow as the Syndicate Lead and wire your funds. If you aren’t investing in the deal yourself, you can ignore this entry.
