What if my investor can’t wire in the currency I’m raising in?
Odin only supports investor transfers in the same currency the investee company is raising in. If your deal is denominated in USD, investors must wire in USD by the platform.
If your investor doesn’t have a bank account in the currency of the deal, we recommend that they quickly create a new bank account in that specific currency with Wise or Revolut, and then wire their payment from that account.
Both Wise and Revolut offer fair FX fees, but our recommendation mainly stands for how quick and simple it is to set up accounts with them. This can be important if there are tight deadlines by which they need to make their transfer. Wise is the better option of the two.
