How Odin communicates during closing
The key change in how Odin communicates during the closing process, as opposed to any part of the journey before or after, is that Odin’s Customer teams take more of a step back, and Odin’s Deal Operations team steps in.
This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t reach out to your Customer Success representative or Odin’s Customer Support team if you feel something’s wrong, it just means they’ll probably lack some context during the closing process.
Internally, Odin’s Customer Success team communicate everything that happens in a deal, so when it is submitted for closing, Odin’s Deal Operations team have all of the handover notes and context they need to approach the closing process in the appropriate way.
Additionally, while Odin communicates with the investee company in order to close the deal, you can see which stage of the process Odin is at by logging back into the deal page.
As a general rule of thumb, these are our suggested actions for specific requests:
- Updates on how far along the closing process is - Log into deal page and view timeline.
- Questions on investment legals, fees, wiring funds, post-close events - Email legal@joinodin.com.
- Questions on anything investor-related - Email hello@joinodin.com.
